With the 2025 financial statements closed, Casa Bonita Foods reports a solid year of increased sales and growth. The year-over-year sales increase was just over 16%, making it the second year in a row with an increase over the 15% mark. 2024 registered close to 20% growth in sales compared to 2023.
Some of the factors contributing to the success are an expansion in the number of retail locations across Canada. With new supermarket chains now distributing Casa Bonita Foods products on the West Coast, the company is reaching more Canadians with high-quality Mexican products.
Exploring the possibility of exporting to new international markets has also opened up opportunities for continued success and growth in 2026. This has instilled confidence in the Casa Bonita Foods team to pursue innovation and develop new products that can attract more consumers and help expand Mexican food into more international markets.
Staple products like the Corn Tortilla Chips and Fire Roasted Salsas continue to establish themselves as recognizable Mexican food options in the Canadian market, and latest releases like the Street Taco Seasonings line with six different flavours, open up new ways to reach more Canadians. These new products not only help diversify the offering for Casa Bonita Foods but also help increase brand awareness in the local market.
Casa Bonita Foods is currently planning new products for later in 2026 or early 2027 and plans to pursue new opportunities in local and international markets later in 2027.
The management team is confident in the company’s potential and expects further growth and expansion in 2027 and beyond.
