Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
1 packet Casa Bonita Foods Street Taco Seasoning
8–10 Casa Bonita Foods Corn Tortillas
1 jar Casa Bonita Foods Yellow Cheese & Chipotle Queso
Shredded lettuce
Red onion, minced
Pickles, minced

Directions:

  1. Mix the ground beef with Casa Bonita Taco Seasoning. Press a thin layer of seasoned beef directly onto each Casa Bonita corn tortilla.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan or cast-iron skillet over high heat. Place each tortilla meat-side down into the pan. Press firmly with a spatula and sear for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Flip and cook the tortilla side for another minute.
  4. Cook in batches and top with Casa Bonita Yellow Cheese & Chipotle Queso, red onion, lettuce and pickles.

Serve hot and enjoy!

These Smash Burger Tacos work just as well for a quick weeknight dinner as they do for feeding a crowd at a casual get-together. The high-heat sear gives the beef a crispy, caramelized edge while the corn tortillas stay sturdy enough to hold all the toppings without falling apart.

Finish them generously with Casa Bonita Yellow Cheese & Chipotle Queso for that creamy, smoky kick, then add cool, crunchy lettuce, sharp red onion, and briny pickles to balance the richness. Made even better with Casa Bonita products, proudly made in Canada.
