Few things go better together than football, friends, and good food. And with The Big Football Game tomorrow, we want you to enjoy the Super Tazon (Spanish for Bowl) with some amazing food. Whether you’re cheering for your team or just there for the halftime show, the right snacks for game day are essential.
Our top choices for this Sunday are:
Yellow Cheese and Chipotle Dip
This year, besides the best line of corn chips in Canada, paired with the best Mexican salsas and queso dips from Casa Bonita Foods, you can opt for Taquitos and Pretzel Bites.
These two recipes are perfect for game day: full of flavour, quick to prep, and guaranteed to disappear fast. They strike that sweet spot of comforting and crowd-pleasing without requiring hours in the kitchen. Made by our friend Chel Kyle.
Chicken Bacon Taquitos

2 chicken breasts, fully cooked, diced
½ lb bacon, fully cooked, roughly chopped
2½ cups marble cheese, grated

Follow these steps:
a) Combine chicken, bacon, cheese, and Tajín chili sauce in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
b) Warm Casa Bonita Corn Tortillas in a dry pan for 10–20 seconds until flexible.
c) Spoon about 2 tbsp of filling onto each tortilla and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick.
d) Heat about 2 inches of oil in a high-walled pan.
Fry taquitos on all sides until crispy and golden brown.
Cut in half and serve hot with Casa Bonita Queso and Casa Bonita Fire Roasted Salsa.

d) Place dough on a floured surface, cut into strips, roll into ropes, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
e) Bring water to a simmer and add molasses and baking soda.
f) Drop dough pieces (5–8 at a time) into the bath for 15–20 seconds. Remove and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
g) Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
