For an authentic classic taco recipe that is perfect for every night of the week and especially a great option for a weekend get-together, look no further than Carne Asada Tacos. As we mentioned before, in order to share with Canadians some of the best and easy-to-make Mexican recipes, we have been partnering with chefs to help us. Kyle Crawford continues to help us this time with his delicious take on “Tacos de Carne Asada.”

Carne Asada Tacos
Ingredients:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 clove of garlic, finely minced or grated
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp Mexican oregano
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1 lb of steak (any cut)
- 3 Casa Bonita Blue Corn Tortillas
- White onion, finely diced
- Cilantro, finely chopped
- Queso fresco (as much as you like)
- Casa Bonita Fire Roasted Habanero Salsa
Method:
Combine olive oil, salt, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, and lime juice to make a marinade.
Coat steak and let marinate for 1-4 hours.
Grill steak on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes a side, flipping every few minutes until your desired internal temperature is achieved.
Let the steak rest and warm your Casa Bonita corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for 10-15 seconds each.
Slice the steak, and build your tacos with onion, cilantro, queso fresco, and Casa Bonita Fire Roasted Habanero Salsa. Enjoy!
