Tajin was created in the mid ’80s in Veracruz Mexico. With a lot of success in the local Mexican market, Tajin made it to the United States in the ’90s. By the 2000s, Tajin was already available in multiple countries in the Americas.

How long has Tajin been available in Canada?

Tajin has been available in Canada for close to over a decade. Before that, it was possible to be imported from Mexico and the US, but it was not until recently that it became widely available in the Canadian market thanks to the partnership with Casa Bonita Foods.
